Scott serves as Vice President for Innovation Operations and Analytics, responsible for the teams executing high-volume financial and legal transactions supporting the Innovation business, enterprise research administrative applications, research analytics, and research reimbursement. Scott comes to Innovation, having spent over 15 years, developing processes and systems and supporting analytics that facilitated the transformation of our growing research activities. Prior to joining Insight, Scott spent years consulting across various business verticals to improve processes through technology and data analytics. Scott holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Northeastern University.
As Senior Director, Monica is responsible for research applications and innovation operations. In this role, she manages product owners and software engineers focused on the design, development, and delivery of critical administrative systems that support our enterprise research and innovation needs. Monica also oversees Innovation operations, including IP and invention disclosure administration, licensed revenue cycle, and patent expense management. Over the course of her 15-plus years at Insight, Monica has helped lead dozens of transformational projects that have enabled us to run better and analyze our operations. Monica holds a BS in nursing from Boston College.
As the Manager for Product Strategy, Katie is responsible for conducting and overseeing the overall product strategy for Insight. Working closely with other product owners, the technical teams and with the various business offices, Katie identifies, implements, and supports the applications used by our research community. Katie holds certifications as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I). She has a BS from Babson College in management information systems and communications.
Andrew serves as the Manager of Product Operations, overseeing support for the Agreements Financials and Personnel modules within Insight. In his capacity, he collaborates with business offices throughout the enterprise to implement upgrades to the Insight application. Andrew holds certifications as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I). He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Systems from Westfield State University.
As an Applications Analyst III, Luis oversees support and implementation of changes to the Humans and Innovation modules within Insight. Holding certifications as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I), Luis brings a strong foundation in project management to his role. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master of Science in Project Management from Northeastern University.
As an Application Analyst III, Dave oversees the support for Insight Compliance, Animals and BioSafety, TEFRA, and the Research Navigator. His primary responsibility involves collaborating with business users to convert their operational needs into technical specifications. These specifications are subsequently transformed into functional software components. Dave holds certifications as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I). He earned his BA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
In her capacity as Project Specialist and Quality Assurance Engineer, Snigdha leads the development and administration of test automation for Insight. Additionally, Snigdha provides support for the Disclosures module within Insight. Snigdha holds certifications as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I). She earned her master's degree in Informatics from Northeastern University in Boston, following four years as a Systems Engineer with Infosys Limited in India.
Lalig leads Insight Marketing and Communications. In this capacity, she is responsible for marketing outreach, demos and client relationships. Lalig holds various project management certifications and has been an adjunct professor at Boston College at the graduate level for the last 7 years. She is a former President of the Project Management Institute (PMI) of MassBay and has held leadership positions in several non-profit organizations. Lalig earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French, with a minor in German from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
As Manager of Data Services and Infrastructure at Insight, Dave proactively safeguards the Azure environment with a focus on security and compliance. He implements infrastructure-as-code deployments, designs robust disaster recovery plans, assures high availability monitoring, and optimizes our web applications, databases and data warehouses. Dave's expertise in architecture, security, and data integration empowers Insight to mitigate risks and deliver exceptional cloud-based solutions. He holds a BBA in Management and Information Systems from Baylor University, along with an ITIL Foundation certification.
